Job# CC-40-10 Teacher III-Bilingual - Under the supervision of the Site Supervisor, the Teacher III is responsible for adhering to the guidelines of HHS’s Head Start Performance Standards related to Early Childhood Services in conjunction with State Licensing Standards. Responsible for leadership and management of the center during the absence of the Site Supervisor. Qualifications are as followed: Graduation from an accredited four year College or University with a degree in Early Childhood Education sequence with an Early Childhood Education Certification or related field. All degrees must come from a regionally accredited education institution, which has U.S. Department of Education approval. Eighteen (18) hours or more of college credits in Child Development or related field. A CDA Credential must be acquired within one year of employment if the Bachelor of Arts Degree is in an unrelated field. One to three years experience working in a childcare setting is required. Job# CC-36-10 Emergency Services and Hope House Supervisor - Operates as a member of the Community Services team, and works cooperatively with the Director and Assistant Director of Community Services to supervise Emergency Services and Hope House Shelter staff members. Responsible for the day to day operations of Emergency Services, Hope House Shelter, and case management services to clients requesting assistance within a designated area of the diocese, including crisis intervention, assessment counseling, and supportive services; provides consultation, training, and education services as needed to clients, their families, and to parishes and community groups, identifying unmet needs, making appropriate referrals, and developing appropriate programs in consultation with the Assistant Director and Director of Community Services. Qualifications are as followed: Masters degree with major in appropriate field of study (Social Work or related degree). All degrees must come from a regionally accredited educational institution which has U.S. Department of Education approval. Five years of related work experience. Demonstrated capacity to work constructively and effectively with persons from all ethnic, racial, economic and social backgrounds. Must demonstrate excellent communication skills and maintain Bi-lingual staff that best fulfill the needs of the programs.
