Do You Need Emergency Assistance?  If you are a birth mother in crisis or you need emergency assistance, a Maternity Counselor can be reached 24 hours a day at pager # 815-532-2034

Do You Need Someone To Listen?  To Talk To?
Free, confidential counseling provided by professionally trained and caring staff will help you make a sound parenting decision.  After your baby is born, staff will still be there to listen and support you.  Counseling is also available for birth fathers and both of your families.

Do You Need Help With Medical Care?
Our staff will assist you in making a medical plan for prenatal care and delivery.  We will also help you access childbirth education classes.  If you choose adoption for your baby, assistance with medical bills can be provided.

Do You Need A Place To Live?
Alternative living arrangements during your pregnancy can be arranged.  These arrangements include sharing a home with other expectant mothers or living with a caring family in their home, or in a group setting with other expectant mothers.

Is Staying In School Important To You?
Staff can help you make plans to continue your education during your pregnancy.

Are You Worried About Money And Meeting Basic Needs?
Catholic Charities will assist you with financial planning, now and for the future.  We will also help you access the other programs and services offered by Catholic Charities, as well as community and government resources.

If You Choose Adoption...
You can choose a safe, adoptive placement with the degree of openness that's right for you.  This may be sharing pictures and letters, face-to-face meetings with adoptive parents or on-going contact with the adoptive family.  You may select the adoptive parents from profiles of licensed families and choose parents who possess the desired faith, background and values you want for your baby.

Catholic Charities also offers temporary support services, if needed, during your decision-making process.  And after the adoptive placement, we will still offer counseling to deal with the separation from the baby.
